Westford struck by burglary string
State Police are investigating a series of break-ins Tuesday in Westford.
Troopers from the Williston barracks responded to numerous burglaries throughout the town. In each case, police say, thieves entered a residence and took money and jewelry.
The police are asking anyone with any information or anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the Westford area during the morning or afternoon Tuesday to contact Williston barracks at 878-7111.
Police remind residents to make sure all exterior doors are locked and that windows are secured. Burglars are more active in the summer months and it is important to keep an eye out for suspicious activity
