About 30 years ago, when our oldest daughter got her license, I decided that our driveway was not safe to back out of, so she, Maryann and I all started driving across the lawn to the access road to Dad's meadow. We decided it worked pretty good, so had George Rooney draw me in a couple loads of washed gravel from Johnson and that became our new exit driveway. Over the years there have been a few more loads added and we all feel much safer driving out of our driveway. The Pigeon Brothers had Chris Howard bring up some more crushed stone when I added the new garage back a few years ago, however, each spring the ruts got a little deeper. Today, I saw Joey over at Mary Kay's with this little leveling tractor of some sort. When I saw him grading her driveway so that Maryann will now be able to drive her wheel chair right up on the breezeway and into the house, I thought, "Boy, have I got a job for him."

Joey makes the first sweep down through and takes the hump out of the middle

Then backs up through for another sweep

After coming back down, for a third sweep, I now have a level driveway again
