Leo and Solange Lalancette of Essex Junction celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at the home of Jeff and Linda Corey in Fairfax on June 14.
Mr. and Mrs. Lalancette’s children, Michael, Rick, Denise, Dennis, Pam, Bob and Linda attended, along with many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Lalancette were married on June 12, 1948, in Portsmouth, N.H., and moved to Essex Junction in 1965.
Mr. Lalancette retired as a CPO from the U.S. Navy after serving 20 years, and later retired from IBM. Mrs. Lalancette was a telephone operator and homemaker.
