I remember going to the bridge to watch many a fight. Never had one myself there...(I always told a challenger, "Let's go right here in the hall..classroom...gym...) the bullies usually always backed down when they realized you were crazy enough to actually fight in school...

The narration is below that was on YouTube:
"Fairfax, VT If any boys (sorry, but this was a male activity) were going to fight after school, they would say, "Meet me at the covered bridge after school." Lots of kissing and extracurricular activities went on underneath the bridge, and it was fun to climb up in the rafters!"
