The latest word I heard is that there has been no proof that anyone was kidnapped and what was thought to be seen by someone did not happen.  Police have stopped their search.

Man charged with making false report about abducted child

Burlington police say a 28-year-old man is in jail after being charged with making a false report about an abducted child.
