LOWELL -- Two people were injured today when their motorcycle slid off Vermont 58 in Lowell, said Vermont State Police.
Stephen and Jana Talcott, both 40, of Milton were riding a Honda motorcycle west on Vermont 58 when several turkeys walked into their path. Stephen Talcott swerved to avoid the birds and dumped the bike.
The Talcotts were taken to North Country Hospital to be treated for their injuries. They were both wearing their helmets, police said.
