Heard a sad story when I was at The Senior Citizens Luncheon on Tuesday. One of our loyal Senior Citizen Members from a nearby town, in a recent wind storm had a tree go through her roof. She had to move out while her trailer was being repaired. Once repaired, she moved back in, only to find that because of the rain and weather getting in, mold had developed and within a short time she developed pneumonia. She is presently in a nursing home recovering, however, will not be allowed to move back into her home and will have to move across country to live with one of her children. The poor lady just does not want to leave Vermont - Just about everyone at our Senior Citizens Meeting readily understood her feelings. I know that I for one certainly would be very upset, even if I had to leave Fairfax, not even talking about moving across country. This is where my life is.
