Long time St. Albans photographer and his wife, Ronald and Dorothy Gignac, celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Aug. 17th. They were married Aug. 19, 1948, at the Church of the Nativity in Swanton.

Ronnie and Dorothy renewed their wedding vows, then enjoyed celebrating with family and friends from Vermont, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The celebration was planned by their daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and John Gagne, Susan and Jimmy Brouillette, Anita and Fred Honsinger, Judy and Alan LaBounty and Bonnie and Larry Hetrick.  They are blessed with 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Of course, one of the weddings that Ronnie & Dorthy did was mine & Maryann's.  This was back in the days before they did much color photography, so one of our wedding photos was colored with water colors by Dorothy.  There weren't that many photographers back then in St. Albans, and if my memory serves me correctly his studio was located in their house on Elm Street.
