Had company from Massachusetts this weekend and they parked their camper in my driveway. Offered them to sleep in the house, but they chose to rough it in their camper. Said they had a heat pump and a generator that they needed to start anyhow. When I woke up this morning, checked the thermometer and saw it was 31 degrees. Looked out at the camper and saw smoke coming from the generator, so figured they were warm. Wrong, heat pumps apparently, or at least theirs didn't want to throw any heat as they told me all they got was cold air. They were extremely happy to come in and get some hot coffee and bacon & eggs and look out from the picture window in the house at the beautiful bright sunny weather.
As for me, I just enjoy my creature comforts. When I checked Julie's Fairfax Weather Web Site, noticed they didn't get a frost up there on the Buck Hollow Road. I guess I truly do live in a frost pocket.

Right you are Henry no frost up here this morning in fact haven't had any yet this season. We did clean out the stove pipe over the weekend so we were able to have our first woodstove fire of the season. Nice and warm here last night.
