The above photo was taken by Mike Cain recently

Wished I had thought of this earlier, I would have mentioned it to Erin to bring up in last Monday's Selectboard Meeting.  The above photo, particularly this time of year is one of the most photographed places in town.  Don & DJ repaired the bridge shortly after the truck hit it, however, it has never been painted, making for a not so beautiful photo our tourists will be taking of it.  I don't believe it would take too long to do.  Think I remember reading somewhere or hearing someone had offered to do it.

The person is away, but will be back soon.
The other side is fully painted and fully photogenic.

A very special thanks to Justin Brown for staining the new boards on the Old Covered Bridge - Justin takes a very special interest in the bridge and we may just have to call it Justin's bridge.  Last Christmas he put up a wreath to give it a festive appearance:
