Vermont could see its first snow of the season.

The National Weather Service says rain is expected to mix with snow by this evening in the central and northern Green Mountains.

The snow could pile up to 1 to 4 inches in those areas by Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service says little or no snow is forecast for the Champlain Valley.

I will still be hopeful that the sign is not up in the morning on the way into the office. I will keep you posted.
