Wolves win D-III girls title
Shannon McDowell provided the goal Peoples needed to defeat BFA-Fairfax for the Division III girls soccer state champion Saturday at Randolph Union High School.
Rachel Long set up the goal, which came with 30:31 left in regulation and gave the top-seeded Wolves a 16-1-1 championship season.
Audrey Keily made six saves for Peoples.
Casey Baczewski stopped seven shots for No. 2 BFA, which finished at 16-2 -- with both losses coming against the Wolves.

Ugghhhhh. I feel for the girls. They were right there, so close. Their accomplishments are not in vain though as they proved themselves a team to be feared.
Methinks there might be some need of payback in the b-ball arena.
