Title: 2008 Voter Turnout 4% Less Than In 2004

What was built up to be the biggest voter turnout ever didn't quite turn out that way.  Donna Meunier thought it might not be as big as expected, once the voting got started.  In 2004, Fairfax had a 77% turnout vs 73.4% in 2008.  The forum wasn't a year old yet back then, but if you would like to look back 4 years to see how Fairfax voted back then, click on the following link:

The photos in the link below show kind of a hectic end of the day sight in 2004 - Not sure what the Absentee Ballot count was in 2004, but am sure it was far less than the 600 or so we had in 2008:
