If anyone is aware of local deer hunters that have bagged a deer, send me a note, e-mail me a photo, let me know or post something yourself. I personally am not a hunter, so not apt to have that information. There always used to be several families around town that got their deer early. Remember when Tom & Daisy Collins used to live in the house next to the Old St. Luke's Rectory, you could drive by there and see how many deer they had gotten as they hung in front of the house. Marvin & Cathy Thayer have a rack out near their house where you will usually see a deer or two, maybe even a bear.
Kind of a damp and dreary morning, so not sure if this is good deer hunting weather or not.
