Franklin West Superintendent Armando Vilaseca has been named the new Education Commissioner for the State of Vermont.

Congratulations Mr. Vilaseca!

He was always a great Principal while I was at Essex, and I'm sure the entire state will benefit from this decision... Of course, now WE need to find a new superintendent.... :(

I first met him when he was principal over in Westford and he played in the Mens Basketball League at the school on Sunday nights.
It's always fun to watch certain kids "grow up" at school. It's also nice to watch adults advance in their careers, too.
