Saw young Jake Langelier at Mass this morning. He has completed his basic training in Georgia and will be on the one weekend a month schedule with the guard until his deployment in 2010. He plans to look for a job, not sure what he is interested in, but certainly a very nice young man and am sure he will make someone a good employee. Jake graduated from BFA last June and is one of 5 graduates to join the Guard. Tony Mapes is presently in school in Arizona and will be graduating in February. I am not sure of the status of the three other young men who also joined from the BFA Fairfax Class of 2008.
