Retailers coined the term "Cyber Monday" five years ago to mark the day, and it's grown in popularity ever since, as shoppers cite no crowds, convenience, and free shipping as their biggest reasons for buying online.
We, or I should say Maryann does a large percentage of her Christmas Shopping on line out of necessity. On rare occasions, she will spot an ad in the paper for something she is looking for and I will make a trip down to get it. Many times there is "Free Shipping" which also is an added incentive.
Not sure whether you do this or not, but to be helpful, the kids sometimes even give us a link to the web site and item, that way we know exactly where to go and look for it and what to get.
Of course getting that list can be somewhat of a chore sometimes. One of our daughters sent us a request for our Christmas lists before Thanksgiving and she has received one reply-all from one of the people on the list. That way we all know who would like what and try to let the others know what we might be getting so they don't get duplicates.
