WCAX's snowfall map has us in the purple area-8 to 14 inches.
I'm guessing no school Friday.
(Watch it suddenly stop snowing and we only get a couple of inches.)

Wished I had taken a picture of the Radar Map last night at 8:12 p.m. - Looking at the big picture of the radar, there were a couple of spots here in Northwestern Vermont that had not gotten any snow yet.  I zoomed in as I knew when I looked out the window nothing was coming down here.  Sanderson's corners could be seen and sure enough, the radar indeed showed we were in the perfect part of the storm where no snow was falling.  It was like God shining a light on 473 Fletcher Road.

However, a little after 9 p.m. God decided, "Let's give Henry snow."

Was up at 4:20 this morning and the snow had stopped.  Haven't gone out to get my paper, but know the road crew was out plowing around 3 a.m. or a little after and just saw the school bus go down by.

Got a note from my daughter down in Hampton, NH and they have a different story down there, its called ice and power outages:

"Hi all,
FYI - no power at my house since before 10 PM last night. From what I heard on the radio this morning (and saw on my drive up route 1), most of the NH seacoast is without power due to icing and downed trees taking down power lines. On the bright side, had enough hot water to take a shower before I left this morning and there is power here at the shipyard (so I got to dry my hair). Hopefully the power will be on when I go home this afternoon."

Haven't heard from my other daughter down in Bellows Falls, but they had a lot of ice down there last night also.  I will take the snow any time.

Chris Howard has my driveway all plowed, so a little work with my little Electric Toro Snow Shovel should make everything look a lot like Christmas around here.

Yup.
I jinxed it.
There is school today.
My fault.

I had to get up early to shovel Margie out. The VW is lower to the ground than her old Tracker.
We had 5 inches here on Cain Street as well.
