I have not heard of anybody stealing recycle bins in town.  I did however see one in a ditch on 104 (just north of Nan's Mobil).  I assumed the wind blew it across the road from one of the houses on the other side of the road but it could have been abandoned by somebody who stole it.  This was about two weeks ago.

Nope.  I got two, still got 'em both.

I still have mine.  It's an unusual thing for someone to steal when they were available to everyone.

Actually it's not that unusual for people to steal recycling bins.  Some people will steal anything.  Our recycling bin was stolen last year even though it was marked with our name and address.  When our bin was stolen, you couldn't get a replacement since they were out of them.  Even now when bins are available to everyone, some people our too lazy to pick one up.  It's easier to steal yours.

we had ours stolen a few years ago.

What is worth is when these creeps stop and add garbage to your pile at night by the road, and usually stuff the garbage guys won't take.
