Title: So Who's An Expert On Uploading Video To YouTube??
Post by: Henry on January 13, 2009, 12:59:52 PM
Deanne Morin has a video she took of The Steeple Market Fire that I am going to try and pick up a copy of today.  Would be nice if it could be uploaded to YouTube - What format is used??

They'll take just about any format as an upload, they then automatically transcode it to the format they use (Flash).
I've uploaded MPEG 1, MPEG 2, and Quicktime, among others, without problems.

A .vob file is a DVD video file extension. If YouTube won't take it I can convert it to MPEG when I get home. ~ Your Geeky Daughter

Henry, were you able to get this uploaded?

My daughter just got back from school in Connecticut late yesterday, but as soon as I see her, will give her a copy of the DVD and see what she can do about loading it up to YouTube.  I will post as soon as it gets up there.
