Title: Fairfax Senior Citizens Invited
Post by: Henry on January 19, 2009, 10:38:10 AM
"Fairfax Senior Citizens" invites all age 60 and over to join them on the First & Ghird Tuesdays of each month for a nice warm meal and "good company."  The cost is $4 per person and if you invite a guest under age 60 (Some need to do this for transportation purposes), their cost is $5.

The meal is at The Fairfax Fire Station and is prepared by Marion Eastman & Alberta Clokey.  It is always a great meal.  If you know a senior that you think would enjoy getting out, do let them know about this local twice monthly event.

A number of our Seniors have gone down South for the winter and we have a few others who are unable to come now since they are in rehab or nursing homes.  We need about 50 people to attend in order to break even, otherwise we lose money and that can only go on for so long.

Bottom line, we need seniors to attend.
