Title: Lack Of Advertising Hitting All Media

Not only the newspapers are being hit hard, but television also.  Apparently everyone is advertising less, but Marcelus Parsons made the comment last night that the Automobile Industry was the one that hit WCAX the hardest:

Some of the other things the Burlington Free Press has done according to Brad Robertson/Burlington Free Press Publisher:

"We have to look at, at the end of the day, what are the key stories we have to cover. Where do we have to be?"

The Burlington Free Press unveiled its new "compactly edited" format Monday. Meanwhile, in the newsroom, most senior reporters are having to cover stories off their familiar beats ... And pick up secondary roles like copy-editing. Everyone's asked to do more.  But Robertson pledges to not give the facts short-shrift.
