A cold front is bringing a few snow showers and squalls to the region, with near whiteout conditions possible in any squalls. This front will move out of the region this evening, allowing bitter cold air to move back in tonight. Some of the colder spots will approach 20 below zero, especially near the Canadian border. The latest computer models are showing a possible coastal storm on Wednesday, with a chance for snow south and east of the Champlain Valley. Temperatures will be moderating a bit by the end of the week.
