Don Pigeon, Road Foreman for the Town of Fairfax stands near the new truck hoping that it will provide as good a service and be as reliable as the old one he is retiring.

Don stands between the two trucks, the old and the new. The older truck in the foreground has 170,000 miles on the speedometer, however the hours on it, due to the fact that many times it leaves the Town Garage and never gets out of the lower gears, would indicate that it has closer to 340,000 miles.
When asked what is going to happen to the old truck, Don said it was going to the Fairfax Fire Department
