The state of Vermont is warning FairPoint customers about a billing problem.
The state says FairPoint has not sent out bills for at least one billing cycle because it is working out problems from the changeover from Verizon. FairPoint wants to make sure the bills are accurate. So state officials say customers should be budgeting out their payment now because eventually the FairPoint bill will arrive.
