Title: Rescue Crews Looking For Burlington Man David Leavitt

"He told someone before he left that he might go out and drive on the ice, which is apparently something he likes to do," Allen said.

Leavitt called 911 from his cell phone just before 1 a.m. today, and the call was traced to an area around 1572 Porters Point Road in Colchester that included part of Mallets Bay, Allen said. Leavitt asked for "help," but was not any more specific, Allen said.
