Title: Jim Minor Volunteered To Be A Test Case

James Minor of Milton is one of 324 Vermonters who has gotten one of Vermont's new enhanced driver's licenses and is among the first to use his at the Canadian border.

 "I've been across four or five times," Minor said, noting he used it Tuesday on a trip to Quebec. "It is truly a time-saver."

Minor heard about the cards and volunteered to be a test case. He said he doesn't have a passport and makes frequent trips to Canada because that's where his dentist is located.

"It's so easy to carry the card in your pocket," Minor said. "I'm happy with it. I think it make sense."
