Shown above is a photo of Esther (Gillin) Kearney who was born 102 years ago up on the Henry Gillin place aka John & Jean Kuhn place on Carrol Hill Road. I last talked with Esther a couple years ago and had also communicated with her daughter Mary by e-mail. I tried to contact Mary again, but apparently she has a new e-mail address.
As I glance through my notes regarding birthdays of our older people here in town, it is absolutely amazing how many birthdays there are the last week of March and the first week of April for people who live such a remarkable life. One of our other older residents of the town who died a few years ago was Albert Rich who was born on April 18th.
