Post by: Henry on April 01, 2009, 08:08:19 AM
St. Albans. City police along with state police investigators have called for a 9:30 press conference to announce they have solved a major crime spree in the area.
It includes vandalism to the school bus parking lot last fall, where 13 busses were heavily damaged and hate graffiti was sprayed on them. They say an arrest has also been made in connection with a break-in last year where $20,000 worth of Toys for Tots were taken.
Police have also finished their investigation into a number of arson fires and other break-ins and vandalisms in the area
Not sure when the Media will report on this press conference, but will keep my eyes open.

Police say they have solved a crime spree that began in September with a series of arsons and included vandalism and burglaries.
St. Albans City Police, Vermont State Police and Vermont State Police Arson Unit held a joint news conference this morning, announcing that five suspects -- ranging in age from 14 to 33 -- have been identified. No names have been released, but police expect to bring charges soon.
The investigation began in September when two fires were set on Aldis Street: One at the city's skate park, the other inside a tractor trailer that was parked in a lot owned by the St. Albans Cooperative Creamery.
The spree continued in October with burglary and vandalism of a warehouse that held $20,000 in toys, vandalism of 13 school buses and the burglary and vandalism of Bourdeau Bros. storage facility on Aldis Street.
