Title: Attempted Armed Robbery At Taft Corners Exit
Post by: Henry on April 02, 2009, 06:47:50 AM
An attempted armed robbery in Williston early this morning. State Police say it happened shortly before 2 a.m. at the Clark's Williston Exit Sunoco off Exit 12 on Interstate 89. Two men are in custody at this time. Police say they never showed a gun and didn't manage to make off with any money. No one was hurt - However, I think I would be just a bit wary holding any job that required me to work in one of these places.  I'm sure drugs are the reason for so many robberies.  This is becoming almost a daily occurrence now.

This Sunoco station is the one next door to the Williston State Police barracks!  Must have been pretty brave (or stupid).
