We had between 30 & 35 people in attendance yesterday. The meal which consisted of ham, fresh asparagus, garlic roasted potatoes, cabbage salad, pickles, beverage and carrot cake for desert was fantastic. All for the price of $4.
Some of our seniors were back from the Sunny South so that increased the numbers, although we are still shy of the break even number of 50.
The East Fairfield Seniors have invited us over for an Easter Dinner, I believe it is a week from tomorrow. Not sure what they are having, but suspect it may include ham. Elaine Kirkpatrick is planning to go and says she has room to bring 3 people with her, so if you need a ride, you can always give her a call to find out more details.
Remember, if you are 60 years old, you qualify. You don't have to be a member.
