Yesterday was one of those days where there seemed to be very little going on, at least here in Fairfax, but apparently it was the same all over. Not that I was looking for bad news, I was just looking for something. Netting it out, Mike's Crazy Robin lost an egg sometime this weekend, some juveniles stole a kayak and rolled it over giving themselves a dunking in The Lamoille River and a Richford Resident, with maybe some connections with Fairfax died in an accident up in Bakersfield in an ATV accident.
This morning's Burlington Free Press contained 7 pages printed on both sides. Now for a paper that covers the whole State of Vermont, Plus, that is not much news. When I picked it up out of my paper box, wasn't sure if I had the whole thing or not, but apparently I did. It kind of reminded me of the old days here in Fairfax in the 1950s. Very, Very quiet, which in a sense might be good, although some might use it as an excuse to vandalize because of their boredom.

Is that Free Press small because of a slow news day or because of the Gannett budget??
