A special thanks to the Cassella Employees who pick up our trash - This morning several crows were picking away at my trash bags and those of my neighbors pulling out paper towels through holes they had made in the trash bags. Went out once and picked them up as the crows watched from a distance only to return and pull some more stuff out of the trash. I had planned to go out and pick it up after Cassella came through, however the guy who picked up the trash noticed what had happened and picked it up for me.
Back in the old days on the farm, Dad used to mix Crow Repellent which came in a red can, in his corn seed so the crows wouldn't eat his corn after he planted it. It was a black tar like substance. Not sure what you would put on trash bags. First the Moles and now the crows.
I should feel grateful though, one poor lady down at J & L Hardware was stocking up on D-Con as she said her house had been invaded with mice.
