Title: Tractor Trailer Carrying 40,000 Pound Baby Food Crashes Near Swanton
Post by: Henry on May 21, 2009, 06:59:32 AM
A tractor-trailer truck carrying 40,000 pounds of baby food crashed on Interstate 89 northbound near Swanton Wednesday night.

Vermont State Police say the operator, who isn't being identified, was reaching for something when he went off the road and hit guard rails.  No injuries were reported.

Police are expecting slight delays near exit 21 Thursday morning while crews clean up the mess.

Well, have you seen a baby in a high chair trying to feed themselves with maybe squash, peas & carrots and tried to clean up that mess???  What do you think 40,000 pounds of baby food would be to clean up??

You are so right Trevor - Although I hate to admit it, between that mess and "Poopy" diapers, that is when I really appreciated "Mom" who never flinched at the cleanup task.
