Title: Photos Of The Fairfax Big Dig
Post by: Henry on May 29, 2009, 11:16:29 AM
Around 11 a.m. this morning, things were booming down at the Steeple Market.  Harrison Cement was pouring a footing of sorts where the sewerage & water come in while the excavator was pushing some dirt around the area.  Traffic was one lane and a State Police car was on the other side of the Lamoille River Bridge with the blue lights going.  Meanwhile cones were set up from the center of town.  Several people honked as I was standing up on the knoll across from the activity, but have no idea who they were or if they were even honking at me.

I "beeped" at you.
I'd hate to be known as a "honker".

Better a Honker than a Wanker, Chris.
Then the cops REALLY have a reason to detain you!

Seriously, that is a HUGE excavation!

That is awesome looking mud truck.

I really hope someone documents this with pics that us construction nerds can oogle over.
I need to get out of retail interior remodels and get back into ground ups.

4 years of Safeway remodels has soften me. Employed me, but softened me.
