Closing my practice in August

After 34 years, I will close my medical practice in St. Albans. The office will officially close August 21, 2009. My patients are encouraged to contact an office of their choice for acceptance as a new patient. Please inform our office of your plans, and your records will be sent.

Thirty-four years of medical practice is a very pleasant remembrance. The rough times are minimized by many wonderful relationships. My patients are to be praised for what they have accomplished. You have overcome acute illness, conquered challenging chronic debility, and learned to deal with disappointing life events. You have taken obstacles and created opportunities. You are survivors in an ever changing and advancing world.

I challenge you to continue to take the central role in your health care. Seek medical care with an open mind. Ask lots of questions. Engage our assistance but be mindful that you each captain your own health care team. You, my dear patients, leave me thankful to have been allowed to participate.
