Title: Work Begins On Bridge #10 In Center Of Fairfax
Post by: Henry on June 24, 2009, 11:40:51 AM
Contractors were removing conduit from the bridge in the center of town.  These guys were not from VTRANS and told me they were just removing the conduit so VTRANS could begin work.  One of the guys said he had looked underneath and the bridge was indeed in need of work.  They also had no idea where the detours would be while reconstruction is going on:

According to last Monday's Selectboard Minutes they are not scheduled to start until 2010, so I guess not that big a rush to remove the conduits.
