Title: This evenings' rainbow
Post by: Julie & 6pt Dave on June 24, 2009, 08:44:07 PM
There's something about a rainbow that just stops me in my tracks.  Here are some pictures of this evenings rainbow in Fairfax.

This rainbow was in the sky for close to an hour.

At one point it almost looked as if a third rainbow was starting to form.  I don't know if that is possible.

Thanks for the photo Julie, I missed it.  I usually watch the news between 6 pm and 7:20 pm, so unless the rainbow shows up in the Northeastern sky where I can see it from my LazyBoy, I am most apt to miss it.  Great Photo

It is possible to have three rainbows. Saw one years ago on my sister's farm in Fairfax on the buck hollow road.
Wished I had me a camera then, it was so awesome
