On Rt. 22A south of Vergennes, it was clearing off to the west.
BACK HOME AGAIN
Posted for Sunday July 12th.........................
We had stopped for lunch at a place in Otega, Otego, something like that, some 32 miles east of Elmira, when Anthony got the phone call that the races at Woodhull were cancelled.
Bugger.
Got home about 7:30. We got a sprinkle near Vermont, but never really hit rain until we were between Maplefields in Fair Haven and Devil's Bowl Speedway just up a few miles up the road. By the time we got to Vergennes, you could see it was clearing off over the Adirondack Mountains in New York.
When I got home, I see we had gotten 7/10ths of an inch of rain, so in a sense the rain beat us home.
Autodrome Edelweiss next Friday. Unless they have free wireless internet at the track, I will not be able to do updates from the track.
The Fairfax Historical Society Museum will be open Sunday from 2-4pm.
