I wonder if the heavy rains washed the crushed stone off Route 104 that someone must have accidentally spilled all the way from Fairfax Commons to past the The Country Pantry. I noticed it yesterday when I went up by there and was hoping nobody would pass me and flick some on my windshield and break it. Have no idea how it got there as crushed stone doesn't fly off a truck in the wind. Appeared to be for just that short distance.

The state road crew was out there this morning with shovels, but I didn't see exactly what they were doing. I prefer to pay attention to traffic. ;)

As of noon today, it was all picked up. Talked with several people and it would appear that a truck load of crushed stone had its tailgate accidentally unhook.
