Title: Things You Notice Immediately With a New Front Porch

1) How many lovely friendly people walk by our house every day.
2) How much my kids detest wearing clothes (The first Porch Rule we instituted was that porch-goers, unlike backyard revelers, must be mostly-clothed).
3) Just how very fast people drive on Main Street. Whoa!

Seriously. This is obviously not the first time in 5 1/2 years I've noticed this, but we need some streetscaping or something to slow folks the heck down! It seems the worst offenders are large commercial vehicles and state police.

Install speed bumps or a Hooter's franchise.

I bet the truckers and cops would slow down for a Hooter's.

 Change rule #1 from item#2 people will slow down for naked people.
