FXFD TRAINING 7/21/09 PUMP TRAINING..............IN THE RAIN
Posted for Wednesday July 22nd.................
We are not a fair weather fire department. When a call comes in, we respond in all kinds of weather. Tuesday night we did some pump training at the pond on the corner of Buck Hollow Road and Meade Road. And it was raining.

All pictures were taken with my iPhone. Not bad for a gray, rainy evening.

EXCELLENT pics from a phone of "drafting"!
I was assigned to a FD on Adak, Alaska when I was in the Navy in the early 90's.
We practiced drafting amongst the near by creeks and that Ocean thingy.
The darn Marines would catch the tundra in fire at least 7 tiimes a year with tracers.
Do not get me started on the NUKE response team at the MAW compound!!!!!!!
