Title: Police Shut Down Williston Road

South Burlington Police tell WPTZ.com they have shut down Williston Road "in the interest of public safety."

The road was shut down at about 10: 30 a.m. and police said they will release further information about the incident within the next hour.

An eyewitness near the scene told WPTZ.com that police had surrounded a home in the area of Heath Street.

Williston Road is now reopened - Heavily armed police stormed a house looking for Eric Shepard, but came up empty:

According t the story it appears he robbed an elderly couple last night, what a creep

Yes,  he actually did some work for them and when he knocked on the door, got in the house on that pretense.  Looks like one almost has to do a criminal check on people who do work for you if you don't know them.  Kind of scary.
