My oldest daughter lives down in Bellows Falls and Comcast has the same deal down there that it has up here. - $99 a month for phone, high speed internet and cable. She did have her internet & Phone through Fairpoint and cable through Comcast and it was costing her about $200 a month. Yesterday was the long awaited day for the switchover - Got the following e-mail last night:
Without irritating myself anymore, I will just say, Comcast did not happen today. However, they will try again on 8/14. And my first month of service will be free, because they so messed up my day completely. In the famous words of Forrest Gump---"and that is all I have to say about that."

They switched over to Fairpoint because of price and now are switching back. They had to give a two year commitment for the $99 deal.
