Battery Street in Burlington is closed at this hour because of a massive sinkhole.
The sinkhole is in the center northbound lane near 60 Battery Street and it's 6 ft. around and 10 ft. deep. Crews are working to repair the damage, but Battery Street will be closed between Cherry and College Streets while work continues. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes. Southbound traffic on Park Street will be diverted onto Pearl Street.
