Title: Fairpoint Problems - What If They Are Not Relicensed??
Post by: Henry on August 10, 2009, 04:55:52 PM
Got the following note from Channel 3's Marselus Parsons tonight:

Watch Kate Duffy's story tonight.   The state says we should not worry.  Someone will run the phone company.   We obviously cannot have the plug pulled with no phone or internet service.   Just as when GMP almost went bankrupt in the 70's, the state said then it would run the utility if necessary.

Hopefully Fairpoint will be able to show they have a plan.  If the state takes over the utility, it is most likely going to be a lot worse!
