People won't have to pay Vermont's six percent state sales tax or the local sales tax on items costing less than $2,000 Saturday August 22, 2009.  They plan to have another next March.  It will give you another 6% off anything you pay a sales tax on.

The Tax Holiday is actually Saturday, August 22nd - NEXT Saturday.
