Hello everyone,

It is that time of year!  Fairfax Cub Scout Pack 853 is inviting boys age 6- 11 to join Cub Scouts.

Cub Scout Roundup!

Who: Boys age 6 - 11
What: Join Cub Scout Pack 853
When September 15, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Where: BFA High School Lobby
Why: To have fun!

This year we have a full schedule of events planned for the boys! 

For our first Pack Meeting on 9/2/2009 we will take a short hike, find a campsite and pitch a tent.  We will enjoy a snack of smores at the campsite and get to know each other a little better. 

Future activities may include:

Haunted Harvest Festival
Model Airplane Construction
Woodworking Event ( Hands on building )
Bowling Belt Loop Event ( Earn a belt loop award )
Swimming Event ( Earn a belt loop award )

Just a reminder if you have a boy who is interested in Cub Scout the sign up is tomorrow night.

Our calendar this year will include the following activities:

1) Model Airplane building and flying
2) Woodworking project. ( Difficulty varies by age)
3) Holiday bowling party
4) Swim Event
5) Pine Wood Derby
6) Blue and Gold Celebration
7) Camporee
8) Haunted Harvest
