Armando was interviewed on Channel 3 last night and our schools of the future may be just a bit different. He talks about lengthening the school year by a month to 200 days as well as lengthening the school day. There is no write up of the interview, but will see if I can get a script.
For those of you that have high speed internet the video is located at:

So.................whan do we clean the school? Lengthening the school years means paying more for teachers, pay for extra custodians to get the schools clean in a timely manner, and I'm sure other things that haven't popped into my head.
As it stands now, no learning takes place after Memorial Day. Kids know the end of the year is coming, and the brain starts slowing down.
