Title: Fall Like Air Moving In - Lawn Mowing Season Coming To An End
Post by: Henry on September 14, 2009, 07:58:05 AM
Temperatures will still be mild today, with most of us cracking the 70 degree mark for highs.

But a compact clipper system and cold front will come swinging down out of Canada late today and overnight, possibly accompanied by just a few showers.  That cold front will bring in a shot of some cooler, fall-like air which will stick around for much of the rest of the week.

I'm looking at maybe 3 more times to mow the lawn.  There are no frosts predicted in the next week or so, but not a lot of rain to make the grass grow either.

I am all for lawn mowing to end. This was the first weekend in which I didn't have to mow. It's already slowing at an incredible pace.
